BELLA CIAO plays music from the Italian Peninsula of the 40s, 50s & 60s. Styles range from tango and polka to waltz and jazz and tarantella. Bella Ciao is Vincenzo Ruberto - Bass , Salvatore Greco - Accordion/Voice and Paul Gillett -Guitar/Voice. The playful, tragic, hopeful and loved are common threads throughout the classically Italian repertoire and Bella Ciao weaves them into a tapestry of music and songs.

We also have an extended repertoire specialising in instrumental tango, waltz and particularly jazz standards ideal for any type of event and function, not just Italian ones. For fans of French music, check out our other project La Mauvaise Réputation, Australia's most authentic interpreter of the wild rhythms and passion of 1930s Parisian hot jazz and the beautiful melodies of classic French chanson - sung en français, bien sûr.
